Clive is a technically masterful craftsman. His furniture is functional, designed to incorporate and establish the natural beauty of the timber with which he works.

The quality and intensely personal design demonstrates his artistry and mirrors his sensitivity for the material. His finished pieces provide affirmation of his ability as both an artist and craftsman, constantly seeking to stretch the boundaries of form and function.

Clive embarked on his career in furniture making and woodworking design in 1970 in Eltham, Victoria after being inspired by Kevin Engish. Whilst working in Eltham he was further inspired by environmentalist Alistair Knox.

He has exhibited, and featured in magazine articles and documentaries and his pieces may be found in numerous public and private collections. He has received recognition through notable institutional acquisitions and has given workshops and acted as a design consultant for both public and private commissions.

Clive has over forty years experience designing and creating on both small and large scale with accomplishments ranging from children's toys to large architectural projects. Display cabinets, dining tables and chairs, hardwood kitchen benchtops, coffee tables can all be custom made to your requirements.
